Love Wānaka is once again partnering with Te Kākano to bring the business community together for a day of connection, collaboration, and hands-on climate action.

There are dozens of native seedlings to plant, as well as a shared morning tea, and plenty of opportunities to connect with your team and others working across our industry.

When: Thursday 01 May, 9.30am-12.30pm

Where: Millennium Track – Te Kākano Nursery (Map Reference: Here)

What to bring: Please come dressed comfortably for outdoor activities and ensure you have appropriate gear for the conditions on the day. Don’t forget your sunscreen, hat, and refillable water bottle, plus a wind and / or waterproof layer. Please BYO gloves if you have them.

What’s included: Tea, coffee, and refreshments are provided, as well as all necessary tools and equipment.

Transport and parking: Access to the planting site is along the Millenium Track, between Edgewater Resort and Te Kākano. You can park at either the Waterfall Creek (10-minute gentle walk) or the Wānaka Tree track ends (20-minute gentle walk). Better yet, carpool, jump on your bike, or create a walking bus.
