What to bring:
WAI Wānaka will be removing rubbish from the riverbanks and trails, as well as taking part in microplastic sampling to help build a better picture of what’s impacting our freshwater systems.
Citizen science in action – all litter collected will be sorted and recorded in the Sustainable Coastlines Litter Intelligence database. Some kai will be provided by the awesome team at Hello Ranger, and there are even sauna vouchers up for grabs thanks to a generous donation from The Sauna!
All welcome. Tamariki / children must be accompanied by an adult.
