Gather up your broken wares and bring them along to be repaired for free by one of the amazing volunteers!

Wastebusters’ Repair Revolution is back! Wānaka residents are encouraged to gather their broken treasures and bring them to life at this free, community-focused repair event. The event will take place at the Wānaka Community Workshop and Fabricate on Sunday, 11th May, from 10am to 2pm.

This day is more than just about fixing—it’s an opportunity to connect, share skills, and prevent valuable items from ending up in the landfill. Whether it’s electricals, clothing, small furniture, toys, or other items, a talented team of repair volunteers will be on hand to assist. Whether it’s replacing a zip or patching a hole before ski season, this is the perfect chance to get those repairs done.

Participants will not only save money and extend the life of their belongings but also pick up useful repair tips along the way.

This Resourceful Communities event is proudly supported by @Queenstown Lakes District Council Zero Waste District Programme.
