Forage & Feast is a celebration of food, and their food is a celebration of people. Behind the local food, home-grown food, wild food and fresh food lie the unique stories of people. Forage & Feast’s mission is to share local food stories with guests – be they local or from far away shores.
The local food stories are rich with flavour, but the characters bring the colour. The local food industry is mindful; one eye on global food issues encourages smart, home-grown practices. Focusing on sustainability, biodiversity and traceable food systems, and producing wholesome, organic, nourishing food is Forage & Feast’s collective passion.
Forage & Feast aims to be a business with purpose, shining a light on the food and hospitality industry. A percentage of all profits are given back to the local community via key food programmes such as Food for Love and Community Networks’ Food Bank, as well as national charity Eat New Zealand. At the heart of Forage & Feast is a love of food, people and storytelling.
