Mt Aspiring National Park is home to a suite of taonga (treasured) species braving the cold of winters and West Coast rain. One of these species is humans; people who volunteer their time to ensure that endemic wildlife hangs on and species that were lost, can return. Sarah will talk about the work that has been done locally and future directions in species conservation.
