Join the Harvest Festival at Luggate Hall for a weekend dedicated to celebrating local food and our incredible food heroes!
15/3/2025 - 16/3/2025

Celebrate the Fresh and Foraged Produce of the Upper Clutha!

Join us for this year’s Autumn Harvest Festival, taking place over two days, March 15 & 16, at the Luggate Memorial Hall – just a 10-minute drive from Wānaka. The hall will be transformed into a hub of learning and inspiration, celebrating food resilience, creativity and deliciousness.

Weekend highlights include:

Autumn Apple Drive – A community event where everyone can join in chutney making, apple juicing, and more. Bring along your surplus apples (not required for participation!), learn new skills, connect with locals, and take home a jar or bottle of delicious local goodies. Entry is by donation, and all are welcome!

Foodie Workshops – Discover how to grow, harvest, prepare, and preserve your own food. Gain hands-on skills like hot and cold smoking or crafting a wild salad with foraged ingredients. Don’t miss out, book your tickets at www.wao.co.nz (tickets will be available early February).

This year, we’re extending the celebration with additional workshops and tours throughout Autumn across the district. Check our programme online from February 1st for the latest details: www.wao.co.nz.

Mark your calendars and join us in celebrating the flavours of the season!
