What to bring:
Join WAI Wānaka for a rewarding beach clean-up event at Beacon Point, Penrith Park.
You’ll be removing rubbish from the beach and nearby trails – a great way to get involved in citizen science as well as protecting Lake Wānaka.
Rubbish collected will be sorted and recorded in the national Litter Intelligence database (by Sustainable Coastlines).
WAI Wānaka thanks the New Zealand Motor Caravan Association (NZMCA) for its sponsorship of this event.
