Te Kākano's planting sessions take place in spring, autumn and winter throughout the Upper Clutha, regenerating public spaces and connecting our community to te taiao (the environment). All welcome!

Roll up your sleeves and support community-based restoration efforts with Te Kākano.

The next planting days are coming up soon:

  • Saturday 1st  August, 1.30pm to 3.30, Waimana Place
  • Saturday 15th August, 1.30pm to 3.30pm, location to be confirmed

Te Kākano will supply the tools and afternoon tea. Bring your own gardening gloves if you have them, a cup for a tea or coffee after the planting, and your friends and whānau.
