Sign up to donate 1% of your business’ proceeds as a Love Wānaka Impact Partner, maximising the impact of your giving on the environment and your business.
Here’s How it Works:
Impact Partners donate 1% of their proceeds (calculated as 1% of EBIT) to Love Wānaka each year.
These funds are pooled for collective impact, before being on-allocated to registered charitable entities in our rohe (region) via our Annual Impact Grants.
20% of everything we raise is invested in a local endowment fund. This fund will grow over time, enabling long-term, substantial funding opportunities to support this mahi (work) long into the future.
You pay annually or in automated monthly installments (and yes, your donations are eligible for charitable tax benefit!).
Partner Perks:
Our Impact Partners are first on the list for Love Wānaka’s annual events and volunteer opportunities; are recognised in our Annual Impact reports and key marketing channels; receive custom supporter assets; and get special voting rights in our Annual Grants rounds.

As an Impact Partner, you can share that every trip, booking, service or experience you offer contributes to the protection and regeneration of Wānaka’s one-of-a-kind environment. That’s impactful for you, and the environment.
Best for:
Small to medium businesses who want to make an impact.
Larger businesses can join the Impact Partner Programme with a donation of $10,000 or more per year.
Become a monthly donor; give as and when you can; make a donation per ticket, activity or experience sold; or partner with us on a specific brand, product, or campaign.
How it works:
Monthly donors
You choose the amount that works for your business.
You can pause, skip or cancel payments at anytime.
You’ll receive an automated receipt for every donation, as well as an annual donation summary at the end of each year.
Pro-rata donations or brand / product partnerships
Reach out to our team you’d like to partner with us on a specific brand, product, or campaign, or would like to commit to a pro-rata donation.
We’ll talk through the details then draw up a quick agreement with the terms and timeframes that work for you.

All business donations over $5NZD are eligible for charitable tax benefit – that’s 33% back on every dollar you give.
All donors are recognised across our channels and in our Annual Impact Reports, and you’ll be able to share the good word with your customers and community, too. We’ll provide you with the assets to bring this story to life onsite and online.

Sole traders, small businesses, and individuals who want to have control over their giving.
Support Love Wānaka by introducing it to your people. Display posters and donation cards in store, or use your online presence to connect your customers with opportunities to donate or lend a hand. It’s the telling of a new story about how to visit Wānaka and will help to share your business values with your audience and your community.

Best for:
Businesses of all shapes and sizes. We hope to inspire our visitors to get involved and give back to our environment, too, but to do that we need your help spreading the word.
Suggest a voluntary donation at the point of sale or make the first move and incorporate a donation into the cost of your product or experience. It’s a powerful way to demonstrate your commitment to this place and invites your customers to be part of the solution too.

Add an opt-in donation into your online booking system, make the ask at the point of sale, or include a button-link to make a donation in your pre- or post- booking comms.
